As soon as I start to feel the cold breeze in the afternoons and see the light fade out earlier and earlier each day, I get so excited! Autumn is my favorite season.

Aside from the fact that I absolutely love scarves; I can't get enough of all the beautiful foliage, the showers of gorgeous leaves when you're walking under a tree and the wind blows, the amazing light in the afternoons and the feeling of nostalgia.

During these months of short days and long nights, everything becomes just a bit more beautiful and I become a lot more thankful for it all. And life, well life becomes a little sweeter & time just a tad more forgiving.

I'm thankful for-

* chances ... not just second chances, but 3rd, 4th, 5th....
* friendships, the ones that last a lifetime

* wisdom, the kind that helps you choose which battles are worth it
* amazing old fashion grandmas, the ones that worry about you finding a good husband before you're 30

* people that pay for the car behind them at the Starbucks drive through
* laughing loudly with friends until your eyes start to tear
* endless brunches that turn into shopping sprees, that turn into dinners, that turn into late coffee dates
* realizing that you're wrong & then feeling remorse
* slowing down while you're driving just to admire the views
* those songs that can turn your bad days into fabulous ones
* cookies & cream & bailey's shakes
* Frida going crazy from excitement when I get home & for her jumping in my bed every morning to cuddle right before the day starts
* Friends that are thousands of miles away bc missing them only makes our friendship stronger.
